Shipa Rajkumar

Shilpa has been a research assistant and is currently enrolled as a PhD student at the CMP. She specialises in marine wildlife policy. Her PhD topic is based on the interactions between pinnipeds (seals and sea lions) and commercial fisheries around the world, and the policy implications of marine wildlife and fisheries conflicts. Shilpa has completed a Bachelors degrees in Science and holds a Masters (Hons) in Environmental Science both from the University of Wollongong.

Her research interests include interactions between science, law and environmental policy, and the evolution of policy responses regarding marine wildlife and fisheries interactions around the world.
