Dikdik Mohamad Sodik

Dikdik Mohamad Sodik was born in Indonesia on 28 September 1958. He has been Senior Lecturer of International Law at Bandung Islamic University, Indonesia. At Padjadjaran University in Indonesia, Dikdik graduated in law, and went to complete a Masters in Law at the same university. He specialises on the law of the sea. Mohamad Sodik is the author of many articles on the law of the sea (in Indonesian).

He finished his PhD at the Centre for Maritime Policy, Faculty of Law, University of Wollongong in 2007 with a thesis entitled, 'Combatting illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing in Indonesian waters: the need for fisheries legislative reform.'
