Amelia Emran

Amelia Emran is currently employed as a Federal Counsel with the International Affairs Division of the Attorney General's Chambers of Malaysia. She is doing her Masters (by research) with the Centre on the regulation of vessel source pollution in the Straits of Malacca and Singapore. Prior to commencing her Masters, Amelia was part of the "Special Projects" Unit in her Division, which amongst others, deals with Malaysia 's maritime and territorial boundary issues with her neighbours. She has participated in a number of bilateral negotiations and international law meetings as part of the Malaysian delegation, including as a delegate to the Sixth Committee (Legal) sessions of the United Nations General Assembly in 2004 and 2005.
