Nogueira
Géorgia Nogueira holds a bachelor degree in Law from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), Brazil (1994) and a MS in Environmental Studies Program from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil (2002). She is currently undertaking doctoral studies at the Centre for Maritime Policy, University of Wollongong , Australia under the supervision of Professor Martin Tsamenyi. She is originally from Brazil and her research topic is concerned with identifying constraints of the implementation of key international legal and policy instruments such as the UN Law of Sea Convention and Agenda 21. Her fields of interest include: Ocean Governance, Maritime Policy; Maritime Law; International Environmental Law; and, Integrated Ocean and Coastal management.
