Doctor of Philosophy research on International Maritime Laws & Conventions: Regulation over Port Gateways & Ships in the Maldives.

CONSULTANCY BASED WORK EXPERIENCE
Nov 2007– Consultant of study to Address Systems' Capacity to Undertake Future Technology Needs Assessments on Climate change, Ministry of Environment, Energy and Water Maldives - Consultant for Ministry of Environment to assess the capacity of individuals, institutions and systems to undertake Technology Needs Assessments within the next ten years in order to address current and emerging climate change concerns for the Maldives. This consultancy is funded by United Nations Development Program.

Nov 2007– Consultant for Human Resource Needs Assessment for Construction Sector at Ministry of Higher Education, Employment and Social Security, Maldives – Consultant for the Human Resource Needs Assessment project for Construction sector implemented under the Employment Skills Training Project (ESTP) funded by Asian Development Bank.

Oct 2007 – Transport Consultant for Human Resource Needs Assessment at Ministry of Higher Education, Employment and Social Security, Maldives – Consultant for the Human Resource Needs Assessment project for Transport sector implemented under the Employment Skills Training Project (ESTP) funded by Asian Development Bank.

Sep 2007 – Transport Consultant for In-depth Technology Needs Assessment at the Ministry of Environment, Energy and Water, Maldives – Consultant for the In-depth Technology Needs Assessment (TNA) for Transport Sector project implemented under the broader framework of an Integrated Climate Change Strategy of Maldives, funded by United Nations Development Program.
