Abstract
The growth of the Indian Navy since the 1980's has generally been steady and reflects the importance of India 's own need for maritime security as well as the growing linkages in its role as a cooperative provider of maritime security in the larger region. The current force structure and the future Indian Navy strives to fulfil these obligations. The presenter will provide an overview of India 's security concerns and perceptions with a focus on maritime security. He would be happy to answer questions as well
