David Parmeter

David Parmeter has recently been appointed Acting Managing Director of Teekay Shipping (Australia) Pty Ltd. David has spent the last five years as Teekay Shipping’s Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining Teekay in January 2002, David was the Director Human Resources for the Australian Shipowners Association.

David has degrees in Commerce (Industrial Relations) and Law, and has been admitted as a solicitor in NSW. He has nearly 25 years experience in employee relations and human resources and has worked continuously in the maritime industry since 1984 when he commenced employment with ANL.
